Master Backup Power Sales Representative
US Alternator is seeking a master sales representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and in home / business product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage but not a requirement. Backup power industry is growing in good times and bad times. More and more companies need to have independent power sources so they do not have home/business interruptions.
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
• Generate leads online and in store, selling to an existing book of business
• Meet or exceed sales goals
• Negotiate all contracts with prospective clients
• Help determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
• Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs
• Understand and promote company programs
• Obtain deposits and balance of payment from clients
• Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders
• Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
• Maintain client records
• Answer client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability
• Attend daily pre-game sales meeting
• Engage in ongoing sales training provided by the company

Commission based sale role. When sales targets are met compensation exceeds $140k annually. Passive sales commissions on all passive sales.

Chief Electrical/Backup Power Estimator
Chief electrical/backup power estimators perform various functions in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. Our projects are happening in multiple states and countries.
The typical duties, tasks, and responsibilities performed by chief estimators are shown in the job description example below:
-Assisting senior staff in several ways so as to ensure that projects are more efficient.
-Soliciting for effective ways to boost the accuracy and efficiency of tasks.
-Identifying and examining specifications such as sketches, blueprints, sample layouts or material bills, and calculating the cost with the use of labor and material pricing schedules and historical data for electrical and generator installations.
-Preparing quantity and cost estimates for several electrical and backup power components
-Developing and maintaining good healthy and effective relationships with internal and external clients
-Identifying and evaluating all the technical issues that are related to projects.
-Preparing the estimated plan and coordinating estimate development with the project team, including the development of an estimated schedule
-Sourcing materials, manuals, drawings, and cut sheets from a variety of new and used product vendors.
Being present and actively participating in pre-bid meetings and site tours virtually
Preparing cost reports and presenting results or findings to management, client, vendors, or subcontractors
Building the systems, processes, and tools that will allow for this role to operate smoothly long term.
-Carrying out other duties as assigned or required by management.
